Partnerships and Opportunities

We partner with the Texas Genetics Society to sponsor meetings and interact with scientists in the field of genetics and genomics. The Texas Genetics Society has an annual meeting that we regularly attend and present some of our latest service opportunities that are offered to the community.

The HPRC offers a dedicated high performance computing resource for research and discovery at Texas A&M University. Our bioinformatics and genomics teams partner with the HPRC to handle the vast amounts of data required for modern multi-omic analyses.

The Texas Genomics Core Alliance is a partnership between Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), specifically their respective North Texas Genome Center (NTGC) and the Texas A&M Institute for Genomics Sciences and Society, aimed at enhancing genomic research capabilities and fostering collaboration

An excellent opportunity now exists within TIGSS for adventitious agent testing (AA testing). The MGC within TIGSS offers adventitious agent testing (AA testing) at a reasonable cost to both commercial and academic clients. We have many years of experience conducting AA testing using cutting edge NGS technologies and have developed an efficient bioinformatic pipeline for identification of contamination in commercial biological products. NGS is increasingly used for adventitious agent testing to ensure the safety of biological products, offering broad-spectrum detection capabilities and the ability to identify both known and unknown pathogens, as well as potentially replacing in vivo assays. Please contact our MGC about your AA testing needs.
